Evaluation For Work for High School Students With Disabilities
Children & Families of Iowa (CFI) is a private nonprofit organization that provides mental health therapy and group support; individual, family, and in-home counseling; and support services to children and families. Services also include parenting support, adoption services, community-based family team meetings, domestic violence support, and youth support groups. Programs included are Youth Employment Program, Integrated Health Home Program (enrolled members have access to care 24 hours a day, seven days a week), Pediatric Integrated Health Home case management, Mental Health Program and Behavioral Health Intervention Services.
Opportunity Village, based in Clear Lake, provides and supports services to individuals with disabilities, of all ages, throughout northern Iowa. Northwoods Living, a service of Opportunity Village, concentrates on the Fort Dodge area. Additional services, such as the Children’s Autism Center, are available through Opportunity Village.
Prairie Lakes AEA is one of nine Area Education Agencies created in 1974 by the Iowa legislature to ensure equal educational opportunities for all children from birth through age 21. Support to local schools is provided through three service areas: Educational Services, Information & Technology and Special Education. Prairie Lakes AEA supports educators, parents, and the communities we serve as we work together toward one ultimate goal–to improve student learning. Our region stretches over 14 counties including 40 public and 11 accredited nonpublic schools.
