24/7 Dads is a free 12-week group designed to help with the challenges of fatherhood. The program, which is put on by Children & Families of Iowa (CFI), focuses on fathers becoming more involved in their child’s life, learning good fathering practices, improving communication with children and other family members and respectful co-parenting. Children & Families of Iowa (CFI) is a private nonprofit organization that provides mental health therapy and group support; individual and family, in-home skills development; and support services to children and families. Services also include parenting support, adoption services, domestic violence support, and youth support groups. Programs included are Youth Employment Program, Integrated Health Home Program (enrolled members have access to care 24 hours a day, seven days a week), Pediatric Integrated Health Home case management, Mental Health Program and Behavioral Health Intervention Services.
