24/7 Dads is a free 12-week group designed to help with the challenges of fatherhood. The program, which is put on by Children & Families of Iowa (CFI), focuses on fathers becoming more involved in their child’s life, learning good fathering practices, improving communication with children and other family members and respectful co-parenting. Children & Families of Iowa (CFI) is a private nonprofit organization that provides mental health therapy and group support; individual, family, and in-home counseling; and support services to children and families. Services also include parenting support, adoption services, community-based family team meetings, domestic violence support, and youth support groups. Programs included are Youth Employment Program, Integrated Health Home Program (enrolled members have access to care 24 hours a day, seven days a week), Pediatric Integrated Health Home case management, Mental Health Program and Behavioral Health Intervention Services.
