24/7 Dads is a free 12-week group designed to help with the challenges of fatherhood. The program, which is put on by Children & Families of Iowa (CFI), focuses on fathers becoming more involved in their child’s life, learning good fathering practices, improving communication with children and other family members and respectful co-parenting. Children & Families of Iowa (CFI) is a private nonprofit organization that provides mental health therapy and group support; individual, family, and in-home counseling; and support services to children and families. Services also include parenting support, adoption services, community-based family team meetings, domestic violence support, and youth support groups. Programs included are Youth Employment Program, Integrated Health Home Program, Pediatric Integrated Health Home case management, and Behavioral Health Intervention Services.
