Bethany Christian Services provides services to support and sustain expectant parents in unintended pregnancies through option counseling, resources, advocacy and more. A focus of this service is to de-stress expectant mothers and support them in connecting with their baby so that there is a better outcome for the baby.
Catholic Charities provides outpatient mental health services. Services provided include individual, family, couples and group therapy for all ages. Options counseling is also provided regarding an unplanned pregnancy for both mothers and fathers. Adoption services including agency and private adoption home studies and post placement supervision. Catholic Charities serves all individuals regardless of faith or spiritual beliefs.
Sliding fee primary health care, dental services and behavioral health services. Our mission is to make available quality medical and dental care, disease prevention, and health promotion services to anyone. Services include primary and preventative care, immunizations, family planning, women’s health, well child visits, physicals/sports physicals, lab testing, dental care for all ages, preventative healthcare education, prescription assistance program, referrals to specialists, dental examinations & x-rays, dental treatment/fillings/extractions, chronic disease management, emergency treatment for pain/swelling/broken teeth, psychiatric medication management, on-site social worker consultations, individual, family, and couple mental health counseling, crisis intervention, treatment of anxiety disorders including PTSD, integrative behavioral therapy, stress management, treatment of mood disorders including depression and bipolar disorder, treatment of chronic psychotic illnesses including schizophrenia, substance abuse and addictions treatment, etc.
Provides comprehensive pregnancy prevention programs including curriculum based sex education in schools grades 6-12, teen parent support group, youth and parent community awareness events, activities and presentations. Also increases adolescents’ access to family planning services. TIPP is a program managed by the Webster County Health Department.

UnityPoint Clinc offers comprehensive services in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Pediatrics and a wide variety of specialty services. The team at UnityPoint Clinic focuses on prevention services, including wellness screenings and health education.
Family Planning Clinic offers quality, confidential health care, including various methods of birth control, STD testing, pregnancy testing, emergency contraceptives, pap test and pelvic exam, reproductive life planning, condoms and referrals. Medical services are provided by a nurse practitioner or doctor trained in family planning health care. Costs for service at WCHD family planning clinics are based on ability to pay, and are often less than at other health centers. There is no income limit for those choosing to access family planning services. Insurance is accepted.
Provides public health programs, home health services, nursing care, health counseling and immunizations and vaccinations. Additional services also include screenings, CPR/First Aid classes, nutrition programs, environmental health services, senior health, adolescent mental health, communicable diseases, maternal health, child health, developmental screenings, Breast & Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program and a child care nurse consultant program. Other programs managed by the Webster County Health Department include: Family Foundations, Healthy and Well Kids in Iowa (Hawk-i), I-Smile Dental Health, Prescriptions for Kids, Teen Information Pregnancy Prevention Program (TIPP), Tobacco/Smoking Cessation Program, Webster County Family Planning Clinic and the Women, Infants & Children (WIC) Program.
Call the Health Department with questions Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 4:30 PM. An on-call nurse is also available 24/7 for questions/concerns.
WIC is the nation’s public health nutrition program for pregnant and breastfeeding women, infants and children under 5 years old. WIC is designed to designed to strengthen families by influencing lifetime nutrition and healthy behaviors in a specific high-risk population and provides nutrition counseling and education, breastfeeding promotion and support, checks to buy nutritious foods, immunizations and dental health screenings. This program is managed locally by the Webster County Health Department.
The agency provides home-based services for pregnant women, infants and toddlers and center-based preschool services for 3 and 4 year olds. Services address health, nutrition and language development; social-emotional, physical and cognitive development. Programs support school readiness and family well-being. In providing services, Y.O.U.R., Inc. relies on additional community resource agencies to assist families in moving toward self-sufficiency and to help children reach their full potential. Sensory and development screenings are completed with each child and research-based ongoing assessment tracks their progress.
